Pool Management and Services
Jeff Ellis Management offers a variety of services to aquatic facility owners looking for management solutions. We provide lifeguard training, pool compliance, human resources, aquatic programs, and ongoing maintenance support to make managing day-to-day operations easy. Our 25 years of experience in the aquatic industry is unmatched and we never stop trying to improve your facility’s operation.
Our "turn-key" management solutions do more than make operating your facility easier. They also increase safety, improve overall experience, and even reduce costs for aquatic facilities owned by government agencies, home owner associations, country clubs, resort hotels, water parks, local communities and more.
Management Services
Managing an aquatic facility is a full-time job when it requires you to recruit, hire, train, schedule, and pay employees. That's why we make human resources a part of our management service. Our HR department goes above and beyond to ensure your facility runs smoothly. In addition to what was already mentioned, we’ll handle background checks, employee concerns, workers compensation claims and payroll.
Swim Classes
The swim classes offered at community pools are often the backbone of the facility. We understand not every facility can offer the same programs and that’s why we work with you to determine which programs will serve your guests best. The aquatic programs we generally provide include Jeff Ellis Swimming lessons, water aerobics, junior lifeguard instruction, facility rentals for parties, and water safety seminars.
Pool Maintenance
The maintenance required to operate an aquatic facility is a never-ending job. Basic tasks include chemical monitoring, brushing, skimming, and vacuuming. Whether you're opening a brand new facility or need help with ongoing maintenance, our facility care program offers top-notch service that focuses on maintenance, compliance and overall aquatic safety.
Lifeguard Training
One of our most valued services is our International Lifeguard Training Program (ILTP). It is regarded as the standard in lifeguard training and it’s recognized by insurance carriers and medical professionals around the world. Lifeguards that complete our program are some of the most skilled and sought-after lifeguards around.
Pool Compliance
Laws and regulations are always changing and keeping up is sometimes difficult. As part of our aquatic management service we take on the responsibility of complying with national, state and regional laws that impact aquatic facilities. This includes all regulations involving the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Virginia Graeme Baker Safety Act (VGB). As an owner it’s important that you’re able to relax and feel confident that your staff stays up-to-date on any changes or additions to aquatic laws and regulations.
Lifeguard Auditing
We go the extra mile in ensuring the accountability of our trained lifeguards by performing unannounced audits. The auditing process involves a member of our team discretely arriving at your facility and filming the performance of your personnel. The audit includes a complete evaluation of your facility and a copy of the report is left behind for you to look over so you can make adjustments. This auditing process helps hold employees accountable and has become a staple of Jeff Ellis Management’s mission towards excellence.
