This class is for children who have completed the Advanced Beginner level. In this level children will continue to works towards mastering the front crawl, breaststroke, sidestroke, and backstroke while being introduced to the butterfly and treading water. In order to complete this level the student must swim 50 yards of front crawl with rhythmic breathing, breaststroke, and sidestroke, 75 yards of elementary backstroke and backstroke, and 25 yards of butterfly.
Instructor Comments: Age range is 6 years old to 13 years old. Participants should be comfortable without their parent in the water or on pool deck. Parents will be sitting in the splash pad area.
