This class is for children who have completed the Advanced Beginner level. In this level children will continue to works towards mastering the front crawl, breaststroke, sidestroke, and backstroke while being introduced to the butterfly and treading water. In order to complete this level the student must swim 50 yards of front crawl with rhythmic breathing, breaststroke, and sidestroke, 75 yards of elementary backstroke and backstroke, and 25 yards of butterfly.
Instructor Comments: Due to maintenance and leak detection, class on Monday, June 8th will be moved to Friday, June 12th. Class Starts on Tuesday, June 9th- Friday, June 12th for the first week. 2nd week is Monday-Thursday, June 15th- June 18th. Age range is 6 years old to 13 years old. Participants should be comfortable without their parent on the pool deck. Parents will be sitting in the splash pad area. Participants should have a solid knowledge of swimming prior to registration and able to swim across the pool without any help.
